Personal alarms in Wales

Personal alarms across Wales

Coverage, response arrangements, and the right device depend on the address rather than the region as a whole. The city pages set out the same buying checklist with local contact points and nearby alternatives.

Council telecare is organised locally, so the authority that covers the city is the one to ask about assessments and charges.

Pendant alarms across Wales

Pendant alarms across Wales differ less by region than by fit and coverage. Confirm the mobile signal at the home, choose a comfortable cord length, and make sure the wearer can use the button without help.

The city pages cover local support and coverage notes, while the national guide explains the pendant-specific fit and maintenance questions.

• Confirm coverage at the address.
• Adjust the pendant for comfort.
• Practise pressing the button.
